cant upgrade buildings anymore. [ Edited ]

Hi people, im playin this game for a while. In the begin everthing gone okay but suddenly improves of my buildings have stoped. I have only one luxe one. Even of the 97% of folk  are happy, stil dont upgrade. I builded almost everthing like schools, hotel, casino, libary etc..i have population like 175k but no skyscapers.. Can someone tell me what is the problem? Thanks

If you finished building the buildings before the land went into high land value, then you need to tear down buildings and rebuild them to get them to look like modern skyscrapers. To see the land value, click on the houses icon. Then the blue building blocks on the right. You will see the land that is the highest vallue in the darker blue. If your building was upgraded before it was high valued, you have to tear it down and restart. I choose to only do 3-4 buildings at a time so as not to lose too much of my population and the taxes from them.

Haven't played in a while, but apparently whenever I upgrade my res building, says an architect is building new design. Not upgrading the building at all

Were you refreshing the building plans on the building currently? When you refresh the building plans you must wait 30 minutes before the architect gives you new building plans. After that if you have the required items you can upgrade the buildings.
