@TiffTowers were you able to visit Daniels city before? I’m assuming you are always connected to a stable internet connection, and finally have you tried to reinstall a fresh copy of your game, and run through the tutorial to get back to your city, part of the tutorial is to visit Daniels city.

Yes, I've had no problem getting to Dan's city until beginning of the week.

have uninstalled the game before when glitches occurred but never known how to save my city and reload it. I logged into FB (I think) but can see nothing about saving my city or where to do this.

Before uninstalling the game go the the game settings and sign into Game Center (iOS) or google play (android). That will ensure you can reload your progress after completing the tutorial. I’ve attached a picture of where you find this option.
