There are so many great suggestions here!

With regards to Global Trade, I realise this may not be a popular idea, but I think the game would be much more enjoyable if special items were allowed to be sold, but not advertised on GTH.  Why?  As we all know, it is extremely frustrating to click on an item to find it already sold. The current first-come-first-serve system is also unfair to those with slower devices or connection speeds.  On the other hand, there is nothing better than finding that long-sought-after-item sitting there next to some random blankets or logs.  Oh Happy Day!  If the items could only be found by luck (or pre-arranged trade) it would not only be more fair, it would also be more satisfying.  Of course we'd all like to be able to search for the item we want.  But I understand the problems inherent in a searchable GTH.  The only way it might work is if there were a waiting list or something. But then the shelves would be full of undesirable items only.

I really like how the gifts force us to look at other cities.  Some people have really cool layouts.  How about an option for "liking" other cities, and their mayors would get rewards based on number of "likes"?   It would also be great to give rewards for total number of visitors.  That would encourage people to sell better stuff on GTH (and also to come up with more creative City names).  As gifts are only given once in a 24 hour period for visiting each city, it would be great if there were some sort of marker to indicate which cities have already been visited.  It is very difficult to remember, especially as many city names are in languages I can't read.

On more aesthetic issues... we need more variety of buidings.  I would love high-capacity building that are *not* skyscrapers.  They block out everything else.   Also, please let us plant trees.  Some of the natural trees that I had designed my city around were wiped out with the latest update.  I'd pay (sim money, not real) to plant them where I want them simply to have my city look better.  Rivers would be a bonus.  I'd like more colourful parks, too, like the sakura park.  Expensive, but worth it to have a nice looking city.

For specialist items (land expansion, storage, Vu and now Beach), I'd like to see an Exchange Center, alongside Trade HQ and the Trade Depot where you directly exchange one item for another, such as a Vu glove for a Dozer blade.

Now that you've added a beach it would be cool to haver a visiting cruise ship and fishing boats and give players a chance of increasing commerce.

How about adding a Hurricane or tidal wave to disasters?

I know what could make the game better!! IF EA FIXED THE MUSIC!!! SimCity Buildit had four songs before the Vu tower update but now there is only TWO songs!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MUSIC EA??!? I CAN'T play without the music!! And I can't find any Vu items anymore in GTHQ!

With the update to the Vu towers, its become more popular again, and Vu items are near impossible to find now. As the most 'profitable' of the key mining activities, it would be great if Vu had a 'Maintenance Mode' or something similar, that, for example, would have a daily timer allowing you to 'test' one of the disasters without having to acquire all the items. The disaster could even be the lowest 'ranked' disaster you have, encouraging you to upgrade the tower faster to ensure the lowest disaster you have still has a decent return. Disasters are really fun, but difficult without the items, especially as the cost in SimCash is rather high, so not a great incentive, especially if you've already spent a fair bit of money already.

Please improve city storage. Everytime I finally save up enough items to increase my storage (I'm up to 12 items each x 3) my city storage is only good for a day or so. Then I have to save up more items to increase my storage. The amount of items I need to save to Increase city storage, expand the beach, save Dr Vu's items, and expand my land leaves little room to store my manufactured items. Please fix this for all the items we need to increasingly store.

Other repeated suggestions:

• be able to add friends from the game with or without chatting

• improve global trade; search option, be able to see city storage capacity when In global trade, return to global trade from another player's city (increasing speed to try to buy an already bought item)

• zoom in on mobile devices. I can barely see my city when I zoom in

• be able to buy more than one store (such as building supplies store, farmers market, hardware store, etc)

• increase needed items like dozer exhaust, Dr Vu items, beach items, expanding city storage & land items

• keep increasing expansion areas such like the beach (great idea!!!)

• new ways to gain golden keys (some items are 20+ golden keys 😩). It will take me forever to build some of these items

• be able to buy golden keys or exchange golden keys for simoleans

• create more new items such as more new parks, entertainment places, landmarks, new items maybe even an amusement park where you can add more items!

Thank you for listening 😊

Can we get a reverse trade system?
Instead of putting up items that we want to sell, I'd like to be able to put up a request for certain items I need and a price tag for how much I'd be willing to pay for said items. Continuously tapping 'refresh' in hopes of seeing the ONE item I need, having it finally come up in the HQ only to find that it's already sold out by the time the other city decides to load gets rather old.
This way, when someone has the item I need and likes the price I'm offering, I could get it directly instead of having to jump through all the extra hoops.

The HQ is nice when you need items in bulk, but when you're after one specific item that isn't necessarily common (it always seems to be shovels in my case), it can be a hassle to deal with.

All great suggestions.

I would like to see a special factory or store that could be purchased with simcash capable of creating the gifted charms on demand.

Perhaps with long wait times to avoid flooding, but a store or factory capable of creating these hard to acquire items.

Storage cameras, Locks, Bars,  Expansion items Dozers, Wheels, Exhausts and possibly keys would make the game less frustrating.

The market works to some degree, but is really ineffective to play the game at a nice building pace.  It's taken me a month to expand my map and storage.
I don't mind paying once to buy the game and/or purchase an upgrade, but I refuse to be nickle'd and dime'd for charms to grow the game.

I have purchased simcash to expand all my queues. I even accepted the simcash bonus offer after the beach upgrade.
i.e. I do want to keep the programmers employed.

But some of the frustration in 'playing a game' makes me want to stop playing and do something more productive with my time.

I would also love to see some kind of auction for items and/or a classified ad type of system (reverse trade) where a mayor puts out a request for product at an asking price.

Another mayor can scan the classifieds, accept the contract, fulfill it within some reasonable time and it gets shipped to the mayor by cargo ship, helicopter or plane (fun ideas).

After all, if the cargo ship and plane can request fulfillment by some fictitious company, might as well make it a mayor's request for fulfillment.

Perhaps when the classified ad / request for product is accepted, an email/notification (via game) is sent to the requesting mayor saying. Mayor of city xxxxxxx has accepted your request for product.  Then a timer counts down. the product is fulfilled or expired.  When fulfilled or expired another email is sent to the requesting mayor.

Frankly the whole global trade market mult-user experience is what hooked me further on Simcity,
However it needs to change somehow or I see myself giving up like I did with the other Simcity titles.

I'd like more of a zoom out capability to be able to view the entire city.
