One thing I'd like to add, is would love to see an AM Radio Tower come out of this idea as well.  

On the Night Drives to Western Kansas, these towers with their Red blinking hazard lights were a sign you were approaching a town on a lonely road in the plains.  

It would be kinda neat to have that on a city map too.
