Epic projects on new regions?

I wonder if it's possible to make epic projects on new regions.

Already I have 9 normal houses to the max in one region and 2 in my 2nd region but I can't make any epic.

Is this because of department of epic projects building missing?

I removed some posts from this thread because they were off topic.

Not sure if you are still wondering this, but just in case: Epic Projects and Epic Buildings can only be placed in Capital City.

I'm a little disappointed about epic buildings but I'll find my way.

You can't build epic buildings in regions which is a huge shame because my city has fully expanded and I only have 3 buildings left to convert and it's a common assignment in the Com. The fact that the people in the regions do not pay tax makes building up regions much less appealing. The positive thing for me is my city is full and being able to move 12 factories to green valley has let me build more skyscrapers and I'm only going to build Omega buildings in the
regions for the Neo sims.

I am now seeing epic building projects show up in my Green Valley expansion some.... So I'm assuming you can build them in all expansion zones.

This latest update allowing you to have 35 speedup tokens, build epic buildings in regions and the new upgradeable buildings has saved the game.

How do you upgrade an epic building?

An epic building can be done in the Capital and the Regions.   The only building that will get an Epic Wing to start an epic project is a NORMAL Residential unit.  Once you see the wing you can commence converting it into an epic.

that is not true. You can have Epic buildings in other regions too.
