Thanks for posting. I will link to this thread whenever someone tries to shoot down the complaints about cheating. Even without screenshots to back it all up, it's very obvious that there are cheaters and hackers in this game. It's impossible to wrack up three day's worth of points an hour into the game unless someone is cheating. There's just no other way.

Relatively new to the game and just reading some of the comments. I just read that if you have completed everything you can request extra tasks using the golden tickets (or whatever they call them ) Not meaning to sound patronising but I assume you have tried these (haven't myself yet). 

As for hacking/cheating I don't understand what there is to gain. If you can give yourself maximum sim cash etc to buy whatever you want then surely it's game over. You don't gain anything IRL and also the incentive to play is pointless. As it's a fairly solitary game anyway who are you going to impress?

Not suspicious at all. I'm one of those guys who on top by double the points. No cheats.

I played Megalopolis League last week.  With 9 tasks remaining with a point value of 11,000 I had 55,000 points.  At that point the leader had 103,000 points.  Assuming I finished the challenges and then used 10 tickets (metropolis league only allowed 5) I would still not have gotten close to 100,00 points.  The winner ended up with 114,680.  There is something grossly wrong with the way the challenges are run.

Overtime, I have been playing the contests regularly. I have totally burned out on them. I like the unique items offered, winning platinum keys..playing is a must. My best guess at how people get so far ahead is 1. They use feeder cities 2. The have other players support. Soo..I still play..some but at a certain point I say..enough. I actually loose coins sometimes and come out short. The main thing is it's so time consuming. I just don't have the or want to spend that much time doing it. It's a game. I treat it that way. I used to really be into the contests but now the effort versus the rewards is ludicrous. My suggestion would be to offer clipboard assignments which offer rewards such as plantinum keys or uniques items and a more realistic time investment.

if you only do the highest points task, and your lucky, you will average 2k+ points at the end of the competition, that means on megalopolis you have 100k+ points, it is totally doable and if you spend your cash well, you will have all your shops on 11 slots and ready with items hovering, a good club and lots of friends help you to get those items that is  scarce, stock up on upgrade items and have your store at 500, you can be out of the starting gate in a flash.

unfortunately there is a lot of sour/lazy  players that complain about everything and good players end up being called cheaters.

and there seems to be no investigating from EA so players end up on cheat server, without their friends.

Example task list a couple weeks ago from Megalopolis.  No cheating/task manipulation done; just that the game seemed to like to give me 3x Launch Disasters.  Won by like 15k points without using Golden Tickets.  Note I really hate the Omega task.  You can also see when I get up and when I have lunch at work!  This week was followed up by a week where I won with about 105,000 points (barely beating second by 300 points at the last minute) after all five Golden Ticket tasks so it can be highly variable.

it is very easy to get 100k+ points, but hard work, and doing it on a phone parttime is not going to be easy, i play on my pc, i have 15 hours a day playtime as i dont have a job, so for me its kinda easy, only thing is the ones that cant, report you as a cheater and EA moves you to a cheat server, no investigation nothing, yes sure i have 1000 platinum keys from 5 wins, i never have more then 100k simolions as i buy a lot, but now im a cheater, the sore loosers will do anything to remove us from the game, and since you cant buy back you status with real money, EA doesnt care, as money talks.

Whoa, you posted and recorded all tasks you completed. Good job.

Well, I won the second place with 117,130 pts last week too, and spent around 140SC for it. 

I hope our inputs can energize other players to keep playing CoM.
