Where do I make or get the chair needed to build houses?

The chair is a product of the Furniture Store, and is a combination of wood, hammer, and nails. The wood will come from your factory. The hammer is a combination of both wood and steel, so you'll need both of those materials. The nails are a product of steel as well. Once you have the required number of materials, you can request a chair be made from the Furniture Store, manufacturing time is 30 minutes per. The Furniture Store itself can be found in the shops section, on the right side. Hope this helps!

Or just buy from Global; I did that for a while until I had the $8000 Simoleons to build the store. Once I saw it took 2 other manufactured items to make a chair, it seemed a good idea to keep letting other people buld them, and I would just buy them. 

That lasted a day or so, and now I produce chairs all day and sell them in the marketplace. They are a great seller most of the time, even when offered at the max price of $300.
