Simcity doesnt open

Simcity 5 wont open or run

i bought origin access yesterday and am playin on pc and have tried to play simcity 5 but every time i launch it nothing happens and it doesnt start up. it shows up as a task but doesnt run and no window opens. I have completely uninstalled origin and the game two times and have no idea why this game doesnt run since i use origin everyday and it works fine with most game like bf1 and swbf where i can play fine at ultra setting but cant play simncity?
