SimCity on Mac crashing

So I just bought the simcity for Mac and haven’t been able to play as of yet as it crashes as soon as I start building about 10 minutes into the game. I’ve seen there are many peoples versions that have been crashing.

Is there any solutions or are EA actually going to fix it?

Where did you purchase and download the game from, Origin or the App Store?

Origin. I got annoyed by the game and requested a refund. They shouldn't sell a game that does not work
