Refund for a game that does not work on Macbook

★★★★★ Newbie

I purchased Simcity, but it does not work properly on Macbook Pro or Air. I want to return it for a refund.  How do I do that?

There's a few centimeters difference between the actual cursor position and the position on the screen where it registers.

Hi @already_in_use_8 - Are you running Mojave on your Macbook? There is an issue with display resolution in later versions of Mojave that can cause the mouse cursor to be offset from the selection. You should be able to fix it by doing the following:

Launch full screen forcing the display resolution via command lineIn Origin, right-click the SimCity icon and choose "Game Properties" > click the "Advanced Launch Options" tab > type "-r:1920x1080" (without the quotation marks) in the "Command Line Arguments" box.

Match the resolution to the current display settings on your monitor, using the format "-r:HHHHxRRRR" For instance, -r:2560x1440  -r:1920x1080  -r:1600x900

If you recently purchased SimCity from Origin and still wish to pursue a refund, check out the Great Game Guarantee for more information.

Hope that helps! Happy Building!
