Evening everyone, I have an issue when loading any city in multiplayer mode for SimCity 2013, it says "Unable to load city at this time", I've searched through forums and not found a definitive solution for the problem.
I've tried repairing game files, rebooting the convertible, reinstalling the game and also tried a defragment as well as disk clean-up, to no avail.
Spent an hour and a half on the phone to Origin Support, who asked me to uninstall the game with the Revo Uninstaller, making sure to delete all files related to the game, this hasn't worked for me but may hopefully help someone else and save them a call to Origin.
It seems to me it's a server issue of some sort, has anyone else encountered this issue and if so have they found a solution?

Sounds like it is a corrupted data file, which used to happen quite frequently at launch (the servers were overloaded and it caused issues with connecting/saving properly). You said you tried repairing game files, did they have you try the SimCity recovery tool?
Mine is in Program Files folder, \Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityRecovery.exe. Double-click and run, hopefully it can recover your cities. It may roll them back to an earlier saved spot, but it would be better than nothing.
If that works, be careful when logging out and make sure it has time to completely save and shut down before disconnecting completely. This game is pretty old now, my offline files can take up to 60 seconds to save before it will completely close, so server-side will probably be very slow.

You're welcome - hope it works. Fingers crossed!
