Can EA fix the scrabble nudge

My nudge button doesn't appear and I keep having to forfeit matches to be able to get rid of games where people stop playing. For several games it's been about a week since the other player took their turn and whenever I try to nudge them I don't have the option.
It only allows me to hit "next" or forfeit which lowers my rating.
What's going on?
