My characters abilitys freeze and the bad guys stop attacking me then it unfreezes and the bad guys are dead. Then shortly after killing things I continue on to the next spot and my character is trapped in a invisble box and the camera will move but my character will not. This also happened previously after a cut seen. The screen says server lag but my internet works great and it only started doing this a few days ago. What could be the problem and what can I do to fix it? Please help!!

ok we need to know a few things about your environment To understand what going on first is your pc wired or wireless to the internet.  There is all kinda of stuff on a network that can make for lag. Just because  you have say Google or internet does not mean you are not having network issue.  First connect to swtor and minimize swtor to do this hit alt+tab at the same time you desktop should be visible

You can access trace route through a Command Prompt. Click the Start Menu and type "cmd" or "command". When the shell opens and you are presented a prompt, type one of the following:

If you play on an East Coast server: tracert 159.153.92.28
If you play on a West Coast server: tracert 159.153.68.252
If you play on a European server: tracert 159.153.72.252

This depends on what server you are located to see that go to the sever selection screen and see if you are east west or any other server.  Once you know what server use the tracert  command to get a read out of the route you take and the ms per hops to the server.

So say i am on  Jedi Covenant East i would use tracert 159.153.92.28 to see were my lag is

To copy the info from the command window right click and hit select all then hit ctrl+C Then paste it here.

This will give us a good idea if there is any issue with your route to the swtor servers.

Hero

Do you happen to be on the planet Belsavis or is this anywhere.  I know on that planet switching instances fixes it because it's a known issue there.

If not, does the lag occur everywhere you go? what server? what region or part of the country are you on?

Please feel free to run through a few of the tools/tips that I have provided here

http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/Simple-guide-to-identify-network-issues-for-Swto...

They will give you a general idea of where your issues 'may' lie.

Also for a more broader picture providing logs such as your DXDiag aswell as your swtor client_settings.ini will allow us to see what kind of system resources you have available to work with.
