Login service currently unavailable?

I fire up the launcher from origin and tried a repair and I still hit the can't connect to servers screen before I can even put in my username and password.

I've been getting "login service unavailable" at the launcher for the past two days.

Hey, im still having problems regarding the "Login service being currenlty unavailable". Its been doing this for a few months now and nothing has changed, any advice/help would be appreciated, thanks!

That is the error I get today .. I got one gig of the patch and it stopped// shut launcher down and restarted ,, now no login server, for launcher,,, BUT  I can login to http://www.swtor.com/

I have had this happen a couple times, I think it happens when i type pass to fast and perhaps get it wrong.. but closing and typing slower worked.

Was having same issue....Running this exe repaired my launcher

I see that, but in the past, login servers have been available even while maintenance was occuring, and you would be able to download patch. I wonder if they took them down because of the crazy that was 4.1 and 4.1a? Kind of a bummer really, because I wanted to get download styarted before I had to go to work at the new job, guess I get to wait and see if it's working correctly when my workday ends, like most other players...
