Bought the togruta pack: race still not available

I'm so mad I can't believe the backwards way of support with these issues. I purchased but I have to post in a message board for other players to help? Wtf?

So I purchased about 700 cartel coins, and i redeemed the pack from the game, but no race is available ? Wtf is this just a trap for new players?

What do I do or just I conform with the idea that I was stolen?

Send an email to support@swtor.com from the email associated with the account , and detail what happened , include swtor username etc 

they can take a look at what happened, response time is around 3 days i believe

After you claim the unlock from the cartel market it goes to the inventory of that character to be used/consumed to apply to the account

did you use the unlock found in the characters inventory ?

Yes I did, and it didn't give me the race. After I bought I used it on the character confirming that it was a one time use. As I get to the character creation menu, the option wasn't there. but I refresh and re-log a couple of times to see if it changes. It reads 100 credits, but the option isn't available.

Today, I re-logged and checked if it was in the unclaimed area of the market. Its not in the unclaimed so it was claimed. It's just gone

Apparently I didn't use the item after claiming it. I thought that you only needed to claim the item :/ Had the character deleted as well, but they fixed it up for me. Thanks mate!
