Same Problem. My EA account miraculously works with Battlefield 1 no problem... but Battlefront? Nope.

Kinda crazy they also want you to pay $4.99 a month for EA online, when most games are free play and don't have this problem (where you can't even play).

I wasted over an hour with technical "support" and they were literally Googling things I was already told them I did to fix this. None of the threads and their "help" worked. Glad we can enjoy their games....

I have tried these steps and nothing has happened:

 - linked EA account to PSN account (and verified it was connected on "About Me" page.

 - Signed in using PSN account on EA website (on a phone, computer and PS4 web browser)

 - Changed EA password

 - Did the whole: Default Settings, sign in PSN, Restore Licenses, Restart PS4

 - Confirmed all login info was correct and was able to sign in on BF Companion App

 - Confirmed EA account was "adult"

 - I have a PS+ account for "online play"

 - Contacted tech "support" that wasted an hour of my time telling me to do the same things I told them I already did (see above).

Still nothing works. Anyone else actually want to play this game???

It's been a few days since me and my friend came across the "you must be signed in to your EA account to access online features" bug and we really need a patch, this game really is fun but we still haven't found a way to fix it. It's a bug that Dice needs to handle.

More and more people have come across the bug in the last week or so on multiple platforms (PS4 mainly), this bug literally walls off 80% of the game and the last mechanic holding this thing together, playing with friends...

Come on Dice, we need a patch soon.
