Starwars battlefront glitch ps4 [ Edited ]

on multiplayer my character with use the L1 R1 and hold triangle abilities my friends don't have this problem but it is getting really iratating and I think it's the game because I do not have this problem is battlefront 2.

I think this could be the fix then:

1. Please uninstall the game on your external hard drive.
2. Then, detach it and verify there aren't any files on your internal drive. 
3. Reinstall the game on the internal hard drive with the external hard drive detached
4. Launch the game and make sure the external hard drive is not attached until you've successfully played a game

I've seen some weird situations with external hard drives either due to compatibility reasons (not an official Xbox/PlayStation external drive) or files are located on both which cause in-game issues.

I know this is a little late but did you ever figure out what was causing that?

No I have not figured out what has been causing the problem

Does it do the same thing with a different controller and have you ever tried reinstalling the game?

It does do it with other controllers but I have not tried to reinstall the game

I reinstalled it and it still does the glitch.

Have the controller settings been reset back to default?

I just reset to default and it is still doing it

Do you happen to have the game installed on an external hard drive? This is indeed really strange. Have you tried switching up the Star Cards at all?

It is on my external drive and it happens with all the star cards I have used
