Just a question about the hero pick-up token

I'm curious to know, does anybody know if the hero pick-up token from the game has any meaning in the star wars universe? cause I was unable to recognize it and it looks like something DICE will make up just for the game considering it is used both for the rebels and the empire

My interpretation was that it was a lightsaber in front of the Death Star. The middle line tapers in a manner similar to this old poster image, and I could swear I've seen a version of this where luke holds it in front of the Death Star.

I couldn't find an image of it, so the token might just be to represent a lightsaber.

That was actually very interesting it's nice to see dice isn't just making stuff up,and actually puts some thought into what they are doing
