Installation stuck at 22%

I start the download, it downloads up until 22% (the point past which it should be playable while downloading). It then starts to install, but gets stuck there. The install log has this line in it: Installation registry missing.  Game not yet installed.

First off, make sure that you are running the Origin Client as administrator, so that it has sufficient rights to create folders and write files on your system partition: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/

Hi, thanks for the response.

That seemed to have done the trick.

Other stuff I also happened to do which may or may not have contributed:

deleting the files, redownloading in safe mode, and putting a directx install folder into the installer folder before installation started because it wasn't making one on its own.

Hi, I have the similar problem, however, I have made sure I am the administrator and still am stuck at 22%.

Same problem. admin and still stuck at 22% for 10 hours ...

Log in to Origin as administrator (right-click icon on Desktop and choose "admin"). 

Right-click on game in Origin.  Choose "repair".

Should download the rest of the install files and install correctly.
