Hi guys,
I started playing the Battlefront Beta last night and the game is incredible so far! Graphics are stunning and the gameplay is stellar. The only issue I'm having is that the volume is VERY low. I have my PC volume all the way up and in-game master volume on 100, but the game is still less than half the volume it should be. I thought at first that my headphones were the culprit, but when I switched to my TV speakers it was the same story.
To give some perspective, usually I watch movies and game at around 30/100 on my TV with PC volume settings maxed out. To achieve the same volume level with Battlefront, I have to turn it up to about 80/100. Before you ask, yes the volume is up in volume mixer and all my other programs are at a normal decibel level. I keep scaring myself (and likely my neighbors) to death by forgetting how high it's turned up when I start playing a YouTube video or music.
Anyone have a clue as to why Battlefront (and Battlefront alone) is so quiet? I'd love to be able to play with headphones but it doesn't have the same effect if I can't hear the game.

@trinicaThanks for the detailed post, you've checked off the more common things, which is good.
For the next step, can you go to your in-game audio settings and check if "Surround 5.1 & 7.1" is turned on? If it is try setting the game to stereo and see if that has any effect.
In other games in the past, sometimes surround sound is turned on when there is a lack of appropriate equipment. As the centre speaker doesn't exist, sounds that should come from the centre speaker are missing, or can only be heard faintly through the side speakers. I'm not sure if this is a factor for SWBF, but now's as good a time as any to check if that's the case.
Thanks again, please let us know how you get on.

I have the same problem. I was initially having issues with choppy music and audio during cutscenes and the menus but the overall volume was fine. I updated my logitech software which fixed the choppy issue but now the game volume is a third or half of what it should be. I have everything turned up. Tried toggling between stereo and surround. No luck. All other system sounds and audio from other games is normal.
I am using a G430 logitech headset with Logitech Gaming Software 8.75.30.

I'd like to note that I'm no longer having this issue with my TV, but no headset I plug in can get to a decent volume level. I have a new headset so I thought that might be the culprit, but even normal pairs of earbuds that I use every day are super quiet with the game.
