@Skeletishe You are completely correct, sorry for mistyping it initially, edited now.
@Perkosaurus Hey, it should be as simple as creating the file using notepad within the C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\STAR WARS Battlefront folder.
Please let us know how you get on.
@iamndonn Thanks for the confirmation!

Hey, here's a quick tutorial for folks coming to this thread who might not be fully sure of the steps to take.
Please note that more troubleshooting steps can be found here: https://help.ea.com/en/article/troubleshoot-a-black-startup-screen-in-star-wars-battlefront/
Click the spoiler tags for images.
1:Click the Start Button then on Notepad, or type notepad into the Windows Search.
2:In the box that appears copy in the text below.
Thread.ProcessorCount 4
Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount -2
3:Then click File > Save As.
Enter user.cfg as the name and save it as All Files
4:Then move this file to your Battlefront folder, which is at C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\STAR WARS Battlefront by default.
Thanks and please let us know how you get on.
