Connection error. Please check your connection settings and try again.

I can't save the game, view or post a message to race team, see the result of time trial tornament etc.

I've tried everything except reinstall the game or hard reset my phone.

I've followed all instructions from Google's search results.

Also, I've found in folder:

Device Storage/Android/data/com.ea.games.r3_row/Doc

That is around 2000 of 'res_xxxx.pld' files (where x is a number eg. res_1151.pld).

Can I delete all of these files?

Also, I've created a ticket to Firemonkey but still no answer from them.

Please help me.

Best Regards,

Ruli

Re: Connection error. Please check your connection settings and try again.

★★ Guide

Do you have a friend (or family member) who has a compatible device? You could always use their device, install the game, login to Facebook (or whatever) and download your progress, just to check it's all ok and get your daily rewards.

Unfortunately I have no idea about Android, I'd always had iPhones, I tried a Samsung phone a couple years back, didn't like it (I disliked the disconnected approach of the apps ... nothing seemed to work properly with anything else) and went back to the iPhone within 3 months!

Good luck with getting a response from the Monkeys. It's a frustrating experience. You'll probably get there but be prepared to be ...

★★ Guide

I meant to write ... after checking your progress on a friend's device, if your progress has cloud-saved ok then you can confidently delete the app and wipe all associated files and then reinstall it and download your cloud-save and pick up where you left off ... go for it!

I would like to reinstall the game but: 1. My internet quota is almost dead and I've added 1.2 GB to fix the problem which is not. 2. I am in the middle of fighting the Reign Supreme challenge for Regera. Reinstall the game will take times and not enough quota. My new quota will be added on January 1st at 00.00 am. Not a good idea imo.

Before the error, my phone got security policy updates that include an app called Smart Manager which is have clean memory feature in it and I use it. Whether this is causing the problem and how to fix it?

Below is my replied ticket to Firemonkeys:

FYI,
I've already added my internet quota 1.2 GB but still error on connection.

The best way that I can save my game to cloud or view my Race Team is:
1) I wait for a few seconds and then I retry.
If it doesn't work then :
2) I close wifi and I enable mobile data.
If it doesn't work then :
3) I force close the game while internet is enabled (wifi or mobile data) and I restart it.
If it doesn't work then :
4) Sign out from social media, force stop the game, turn off the phone and turn it back on.
Sign in back to social media.

But this ways is very complicated and really took time. In a whole day, it's successfully saved the game just once or two.
For the race team, I think every 10 minutes, it'll refresh again and got the connection error again.

Regards,

Ruli

It looks like the problem is your internet is too slow. Do you have 3G? Try upgrading to 4G or even better, Wi-Fi.

Are you able to save or view team sometimes or is it always unavailable for you?
