Changing to RR3 from Asphalt 8

I've been playing Asphalt 8 for a while, and it is going downhill quickly. A9 seems even more arcade-style, so I am not interested. So I'm considering changing to RR3 for my daily racing needs.

Does anyone have advice or answers to these?
- Where is there a good fanbase/community for RR3?
- Is an RR4 in the works that will kill RR3?
- If you've played A8, is RR3 as ridiculously expensive?

Hello,
Real Racing 3 tries to be a simulation racing game. Asphalt 8 is an arcade type racing game. I don't know much about the RR3 fanbase but the game is meant to be played with friends. RR4 isn't in the works, it doesn't make any sense. RR3 is also kinda expensive and farming money is an issue because of the car maintenance that will cost you money and will take time to complete. Both games are F2P and are very different. Hope it helps.
