How to link xbox live account to EA and Origins?

How do I link my xbox live gamer tag account to my EA and Origins account?  All the answers I can find are old or dead links that no longer work.  my accounts are all the same email address.  This looks like this has been an issue for 5+ YEARS.  Can someone help us all out.
