Gold gnome doesn’t appear after shooting button in mount steep

In what game mode did the bug occur? Not really sure
Summarize your bug I shoot the button in the drill room on mount steep but the golden gnome doesn’t appear. It is the only golden gnome I cannot retrieve. If I look on my map, it is the only one that is still showing as not retrieved.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Shoot the button and see if your gnome appears.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

I don’t know how I missed that. I kept seeing the gnomoliths but I never heard them pop up when I shot the button. Thank you!

I've had the same problem on ps4, I fire at the button except the gnomolith dont appear out of the ground and I cant get the 24th golden gnome.

I have the same problem on PC, I can see the damage I shot at the button but i cannot find gnomelith in that place

It's ok! We all make mistakes. Honestly I made bad choices when I was in 1st grade and I yelled at a student once when I got angry. Don't worry, I apologized a day later!

Has anyone figured out how to get around this? I've tried swapping characters, repawning in, reloading the game. it's going to drive me batty if I can't complete this.
