Walk-through: Pogo sign-in experience [ Edited ]

Welcome to the new Pogo sign-in experience!

This guide will walk you through converting your Pogo account to an EA Network account using videos.

We are starting off with the most straight forward conversion, but we have a few other videos created, so if this video doesn’t answer all your questions, please check out the videos or the FAQ linked below.

Pogo account conversion to EA account

You are starting on the new new log in page, but now with added one-time conversion. 

 

• Firstly log in as normal – enter your Pogo screen name and password.

• You will see a prompt for account upgrade process

• Hit that Continue button!

• Provide a new password - make sure it meets the highlighted requirements
  
  
  
  
• Now you will need to chose a Security Question and provide an answer.
  • PS! Keeping track of this answer is very important! It will be used as a security measure. 
• And we should be done - now just log in using your Email and newly created password.
  
  • If you ever have trouble with your password come back to this guide as our next section will cover password reset.

Pogo and EA account password reset

This guide will walk you through both the password reset flow for your Pogo account and then show you how to reset your EA account password post conversion.

For assistance with the account conversion head up a bit and check out the Pogo account migration guide. 

If your account is not converted, you would still log in with your screen name. If you do not know the password for this account, this is what the reset process looks like:
PS! You should be using your screen name and password to log in. 

1. Click the “Forgot your password?” link
   
   
   
   
2. Enter your Pogo screen name
3. Switch over to the inbox of the email addressed linked to your Pogo account
4. Click the link provided in the email
5. Enter your screen name and new password twice
6. Sign In!

Once you have gone through the account conversion, password reset will look a little different.
PS! You will use your email and password to log in

1. Click the “Forgot your password?” link
2. Enter your EA account email
3. Switch over to the inbox of the email addressed linked to your Pogo account
4. Click the link provided
5. Enter your new password twice
6. Sign in!

 And you are done!

This guide will walk you through account conversion if you have multiple Pogo accounts tied to a single email.

 If your email address is linked to more than one Pogo account or there is an issue with your email address your conversion will look a little different.

Don’t know if you have more than one account on the same email? Don’t worry the conversion flow will let you know!

Your conversion flow will start the same, but you will get this error.

Nothing to worry about – just head over to the inbox of the email address linked to your Pogo account. If you do not know what that email address is, please contact our support.

In your email in box you will see this email.

The highlighted section will list your most popular accounts.

You will have to assign a new/unique email to each account - so if you have 5 accounts listed here you will need 5 email addresses that have not been linked to a Pogo or EA account before.

Clicking "Update email address" will take you to this screen:

Enter the new email in this screen and click NEXT.

You will need to enter a new password - the password has to be 8 to 16 characters long and include at least one uppercase letter, one lower case letter, and a number. 

After setting up a password it will be time to choose a Security Question and provide an answer. You will see a drop down list of questions to choose from.

When entering the security answer please keep in mind your answer is key sensitive so keep track of your upper and lower cases! 

Note down this answer as this will be used to verify your account ownership if needed.

All done - now repeat this process for every account listed in the email. 

Once the account conversion is complete you will need to use your email and the newly created password to SIGN IN.
