Hey there, @TheAranor.
That's a lot of great information. Since you're using the Chrome Dev fork of the browser, would you be able to try the latest standard release of Chrome? Alternatively, you could try another browser altogether, like Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. I'd like to see if it's related specifically with the browser, or if it's something else with the configuration.
Thanks!

I begrudgingly tried Edge. HTML5 on Edge is incredibly slow/laggy, but works. I didn't see the issue, though some counting was delayed, particularly when multiple cascades took out orange candies. My conclusion is that Chrome is the issue on this computer.

Hey there, @TheAranor.
Chrome tends to be one of the smoothest options for HTML5 games, so if it is down to that browser, would you be able to give a reinstall of Chrome a try?
Fortunately, we have narrowed it down, so thank you for checking Edge!
