Ive gotten 2 or more stars on level 40 of jewel academy many times but the damn gate never unlocks,why?

@carmy82    @EA_Darko     Hi there. As long as you have earned enough stars as required, you may proceed & the gate will open. Please try clicking really low near the bottom of the 40 on the yellow part of the band. This is the same for some other levels as well, for example, levels 140  & 160 act the same way due to an outstanding glitch in the game. Good luck!

Hey @carmy82, does it tell you how many stars you need to unlock the level? It may be a case that you need to go back and play some earlier levels to get additional stars in order to open the level.
