Have you tried adjusting your 'Zoom' setting? Make sure it's at 100%. - I just tested this out - I increased my size to 120% and got the black edge you mentioned. Reset it to 100% and the board should all work correctly.
Try pressing Ctrl & + to zoom in, or Ctrl & - to zoom out, or Ctrl & 0 to reset the zoom to 100%. Here are links for the 3 main browsers.

When you set your zoom to 100%, close your browser & restart it for it to take effect.
