the issue is -team-up

the first pear can't transform in the front position as pears do not have teamup. only the transformation of the rear pear produces a copy in front and adds team up as an ability

Yeah, I just realized that.  Here I thought I had been rather clever to get it on my first attempt, but apparently there are enough different solutions that it's not as tough as I thought.
