Screen freezing after new download

Is anyone else having an issue with the new download? When I load the game it keeps asking me to download xxx MB, I click continue and when done downloading the screen is stuck, I get out and reload the game and same thing. I read here where the same thing happened in 2016 but there was no follow up on how it was resolved. Input?

I know it's a late response but it looks like you might have to clear up some space on your device to download the rest of the content.
