Hey PvZ Players, just wanted to share some awesome news with you all! 
The friends issue is fixed. You can now battle friends again. Someone brought this to my attention, I went on and checked, and sure enough, the issue has been fixed. Have fun jumping on and challenging your friends.
I attempted to find out more information about this issue, but it seems to have been resolved, so not to worry. Have fun playing everyone.
I have to thank PopCap/EA and all those who fixed this issue because you have made me and others very happy!
