Another Crafting Question

Another quick question about crafting. What determines the crafting cost of event cards?I've noticed that some cost 2k while others cost just 1k. Are the 2k cost ones the new ones, and when the next set comes out,  they go down to 1k? Because I wanted to craft go-nuts, but he costs 2k as opposed to 1k.

I’m 99% sure you hit it on the head. 2000 when they are first released as craftable, 1000 after a period of time.
