Lost progress

I was planning PVZ on my Android phone when the batteries had gone and when I came back the only thing left was the name of the profile as of I had never played. And this also happened with my wife a couple of days Ago.

I too got the same problem today. I had finished the game and all mini games, and i had even purchased some coins through google pay. Suddenly, I log in and i had lost all progress. I also found it impossible to contact EA. Did you find any solution?
