Reinforce-mint: worth it to upgrade ?

I don't just use it in battlez, it's very useful in adventure mode.
As are the others.

Even Fila and Contain-mint ? 
That is kinda funny to play again some levels with Spear-mints, if there are enough zombies with plant foods and no air threat, you can finish many levels just using spear mint

Mecha football and barrel rolling zombies (there may be others) now cut the forcefield with one touch.

It may be zombies buffed, in Battlez they're seems to be harder to kill most of the time.
Does it happens also in Adventure mode too ?

No, adventure mode zombies are about as tough as normal but certain zombies can now destroy forcefield with one touch.
