I'm having the same problem for almost two weeks

I notice you have User Dave as your profile name, I'm only guessing but there seems to be some kind of bug going around with profile names being stuck as User Dave.

If everyone tries to register using the same profile name perhaps it will only accept the first User Dave and reject the rest, including yourself. 

The email registration scheme is worth joining imho as it provides a player with data loss (can wipe out your entire account) a quick way of restoring a lost account without having to go through the EAlves of EA HELP CENTER, who can take up to two days to restore an account.

In the meantime i suggest you screenshot/ write down your player id number, as long as you have that number then you can get your gamedata back, even if it takes time.
