Piñata party gems out of sync

Ever since the new update, whenever I play tthe Piñata  party , it always says I didn’t complete it and I do not get the gems nor am I able to get the ones for the daily activities.

Yep it happened to me this morning and to other people too...

You have to tap the quest log to check and if it says expired then leave and go back in so it shows the time you have left otherwise it will not register. I have 2 profiles and 1 is out of sync but pinata party starts at 12 midnight uk time so i usually have time in the morning to play the out of sync one thus completing the daily quest for the free gems.

It may take a few minutes for the Travel Log to update after you first open PvZ2.  I have had this happen many times as well and sometimes I still forget to "refresh" the Travel Log before trying to collect Gems or mints, etc.
