Penny's pursuit not giving me rewards because I died during bonus phase.

Hello, recently i was playing the new gamemode Penny's Pursuit. will fighting Zomboss on the three peppers mode I was having trouble and had to use 9,000 coins worth of power ups and 25 gems because i ran out of time. after all of that i died during the bonus phase. it should have still given the reward because i beat the 11 phases before it and the bonus phase was not on the list of phases. needless to say i was pretty disappointed about losing my gems, coins, and 15 Pokra seed packets. PowerToss posted a good level 1 strategy in the penny's pursuit thread that doesn't need power ups or security guards.
