I am playing with the same setup as your second screenshot and I'm getting considerably higher scores than you.

My mastery level profile gets about 25m and my non mastery profile with peanut L10, power lily L10 x2 and reinforcemint L10 score 15m+.

Here is a link to a video to a player using the same plants as you but all level 1 and he got 3.6m.

From what I ahve seen so far, I think this week's aim is not to defend the base but to deal damages to the zomboss to get good score.

For a player with high level plants to score less than level 1 plants, I think @Maden57 must have a really bad round.

I do not think Battlez was designed with fairness in the EAvil dev team's mind, in fact it was introduced with unbalanced matches such that players are encouraged (I read it forced) to spend $$$ to buy premium and upgrades to have advantages over others.
