Modern Day      Day 3        Use the Given Plants

Let the first Newspaper Zombie reach the lawnmower

Use First Shrinking Violet after the first three Zombies arrive on the lawn and place in the middle row (R3) in front of the three zombies

Lightning Reeds (plant far left columns) and SnapDragons (C5 and C6) can be planted in rows 2 & 4 (R2 & R4)

Endurians, if any, can be planted in R1 and R5 next to the left most SnapDragon (C5)

Plant second Shrinking Violet in top row C8 in front of the first Piano (collect Plant Food) when it starts to enter the lawn

Use Plant Food on C6 SnapDragon when the two Newspaper Zombies are on the lawn in C8 (or C9)

Plant the third Shrinking Violet in row 2 from the bottom C8 in front of the Piano(s) (collect Plant Food after Pianos destroyed)

Use Intensive Carrot if the first SnapDragon is run over by a piano (replace the SnapDragon at C6)

You are almost at the Final Wave – place a Shrinking Violet with the BlockZombie in the middle row (C9)  and then another in the top row C8

Extra Lightning Reeds can be placed in the top row far left (for Giga but only needed if out of Plant Food !!)

Use the Plant Food to vaporize the Giga when it is at C8 or C9

For stronger plants (SnapDragon and/or Lightning Reed) the first Newspaper Zombie can be killed if the following are available/happen:

Three Zombies arrive on the lawn with Newspaper Zombie right behind within one lawn square so all are in a 3 x 3 area

Shrinking Violet is available to shrink all four Zombies together, 2 Lightning Reeds are already on the lawn at R2,C1 and R4 C1

Endurian can be placed at R3 C3 to halt the Newspaper Zombies advance...

With super strong Lightning Reeds you may just need to put the first Shrinking Violet in front of the Newspaper Zombie and have no need for Endurian
