Luck O'The Zombie crashing

Starting today, Luck O'The Zombie event is crashing right after the daisy starts spinning.  I'm running the latest version of Android and the most updated PvZ2.  Would anyone have some help and is this something EA can fix?

Play any big wave beach level then play the piñata party you won’t crash after that

A lot of players have already posted this, only EA can fix it but we don't know if or when because they never tell us anything.

If you're desperate for an answer you could go to reddit and ask haemophilus, she works for EA and is probably your best shot unless they just fix it.

I'm having the same issue as well.  Past 2 days in a row.  Oh, and I'm on iOS.
