Level bugged? [ Edited ]

I am currently stuck on level 16 of Pirate Endless. There are no enemies on the screen, but my plants are still incessantly attacking the space second from the top. A white cloud appears every time they "hit" it. 

I've tried restarting the app, restarting the entire phone and using a power up (the swipe.) Upon using the swipe, the entire hitbox area turned yellow and has stayed thus since. Nothing is making the game realize I've completed the level.

problem solved after upgrade to dark ages...
