Also works with sun production, if not even better I don't plant anything on C6 (expect for middle row) so the tombstones can spawn there and can be destroyed by Pokra or Gravebuster. I won't go for 4M but I think it is possible. Have to grind my Mid level profile  

Edit: Ah okay, you can see the empty C6 in @FantastiXxPVZ video....

After breaking 6M with my mid level profile I went back to my level 1 profile for a couple of games and I was able to break the 4M! IMO this was a really fun tournament because we didn't have the 'perfect' strategy right at the start but instead had to develop and improve the strategy. It went from barley breaking 2M to over 4M!

TBH, there is a lot of luck involved. You need to get almost all the tombstones with Plant Food during the match before they disappear either by using Gravebuster or Pokra. But you can increase your chances following @FantastiXxPVZ tips:

• Plant Spear-mint under the Cardio Zombie so that tombs can't spawn there
• Leave C6 empty (except middle row) so that tombs spawn there
• Use Blover when Gargs throw imps
• All PF you get is used to refresh Spear-mint

It's basically the same strategy @FantastiXxPVZ and I use for mid level plants (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGagOvb-x-M). I think you could replace Gravebuster with Power Lily if you have it.
