Good points.  GEMs are needed for purchasing Gauntlets for when I do wish to try my luck versus other players with stronger plants.  This week in Silver League I am losing maybe 2 out of ten times with Level 1 plants !

I already have a resource horde that I am guarding as though it is my babies !!

Excellent.

At the very start the Zombot Sphinx-inator really makes a big difference in the final score depending upon how it behaves...if it comes out and quickly scoops up plants then the match is hosed.  Otherwise there is a fighting chance to thrive.

I have started doing the new Battlez yesterday as I did not want to missed out Zoybean for my level 1 plant set.  A little rusty but managed to break 3M.  Will try @FantastiXxPVZ plant selection latter today and hope I can replicate his  achievement.

Have a safe flight home.  I remember too many days and nights in airports.  Never forget the time a Police dog made a beeline for my bags !!  The policeman with the machine gun was very good about the whole incident !!  Who would think that the dogs are looking for fruit along with guns and drugs !  So much for the free apple and banana I had taken from the hotel on my way to the airport so I could have a snack later in the day !!

Winter Melon has worked for me too but my most stable results have been with dual Cauli and Apple Mortar.
