Ah I have forgetten Laser Bean (it is good for killing chickens, weasels and turkeys), your setup is much more effcient.  Will give this a go later.

I found a combo that got me 350,000 without getting overrun by turkeys.

I got 482,800 with my high level plants but the same combo just gets slaughtered.

EDIT; Just played a match and won, bucket head zombie was just touching a laser bean when the match finished.

Laser Bean was not sufficient in and of itself at Level 1 ?

I will try LB with Spikeweed and see how that does...maybe use Sap-Fling to slow the Zombies down !!

Edit: @MAGICDAVESHROOM  FYI, I tried using mid-level plants and only manage to get 830K!  I guess the Caulipower comes to its own when there are big gargs about....

Yes, mints and/or Premium plants are needed 

A field full of Caulipower is needed for the super duper high scores.  I can break 1M using high level plants but not at Level 1.

Maybe Tile Turnip instead of a second Gold Bloom ?

Using three MoonFlower is giving me unneeded SUN (but I need the third MoonFlower for Shadow Peashooter)

Yes i know i use caulipower and powermints too much but I'm a big fan of instant kill plants.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM  1.2M is the highest level 1 plant score I have seen, a great score  This even beats my mid level plants which is just over 1M at best.

I have had a few goes on Witch Hazel Battlez, 316K is my current best (Watch out for the chickens in the hamstar brawl!)
