Can't earn gems and coins

Every time I click "earn gems " or "earn coins", the buttons disappear for a second then return. I never get an ad or earn anything. Please help!

This bug has been experienced by many players and IIRC, it seems to come and go.

One of our active member @MAGICDAVESHROOM has also experienced this recently and might be he can offer some advice.
