"I need help with my account. What do I do?!"


Transferring Account Progress

 

Q.) What if I plan to use a different device in the near future or my device breaks, do I lose my game progress?
A.) Back up Plants vs. Zombies 2 (PvZ 2) using iCloud on iOS, and Google on Android to keep progress across multiple devices.

 

Turn on iCloud backup and iCloud drive to save progress. 

Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud and using automatic backup:

  • Open Settings on your device.
  • Find the iCloud tab and tap it to expand the section.
  • You’ll see your email address at the top of the Account box if you’re signed in.
  • Just below the Account box, tap Storage and Backup.
  • Tap On to enable iCloud Backup.

To turn on iCloud Drive:

  • Open Settings on your device.
  • Tap the iCloud tab to expand the section.
  • You’ll see your email address at the top of the Account Box if you’re signed in.
  • Tap On to enable iCloud Drive.

How do I sign in to my Google Account?

  • Launch PvZ 2.
  • Tap the Controller icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the main menu.
  • You’ll be asked to log in.

 

 

Lost Progress & Account Recovery

Q.) Why should I take a screenshot of my Player ID or write it down?
A.) When you contact us, our EA Advisors will need your Player ID to help you. Click here to find out how to locate your Player ID in-game.

Your Player ID is unique to you and your game. While in-game, tap the wrench icon to open the Settings menu.
In the Settings menu, tap:

 

  • iOS: Download Preferences
  • Android: Build Version
  • Take a screenshot or write it down.

Q.) Wait, I still need help. How do I contact an EA Advisor?

  1. Press the wrench > download preferences > you will find your player ID
  2. Take a screenshot of your player ID
  3. Select the "Help" option in-game
  4. Select "Contact us" on the page that loads
  5. Fill in case and account information (be sure to include your Player ID)
