Thanks all for not giving up. Real life kept me busy today, but I am still here. I have the super head office details now. I will just have to wait for their Monday morning to phone. [Admin. Edit] Please contact support via this link: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

We're with you Mcrudd and will stand behind you till your nose bleeds! *grins*
Seriously cant believe how hard it is to track down EA Australia! Surely they are reading and this and could provide contact details...mind you an angry group of Kiwis lead by Mcrudd would make me think twice.
Still keeping the posts alive on the Sims forums we are not going to rest till we get a fair go!

It's nice than an EA representative took the time to comment, but - and I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't know this - there is no magic tax on digital products for sale in NZ that would increase the product's value by so much. There is a working group in Australia looking into why Australians are continually charged in excess for digital content - movies, music, and games - than they should be. New Zealand government is also looking into this but, from what I can gather, was waiting to see what happened as a result of the Australian investigation to determine what path they would follow themselves in this regard.
The fact that both governments are concerned about the pricing levied upon Aussies and Kiwis indicates that the ridiculous pricing is due to corporate greed. Pricing discrimination. They charge us what they like simply because they can. Basically, we are penalised because of our geographical location.
I think it is more than reasonable for all countries everywhere to pay the same price - $20 USD. I don't know why this doesn't happen. They would still make their ridiculous profits. In fact, I don't understand why they don't do this for ALL games. I, for one, would buy a whole heap more of their games if I thought I wasn't being ripped off... and I, too, have purchased every single sims 1,2, and 3 game, stuff pack, and expansion pack (except Sweet Treats), and spent hundreds more on the Sims 3 store. (Not to mention, the quite ridiculous $120 for Mass Effect 3).
After already having paid EA thousands of my hard earned dollars, I have had enough. I'm not paying you a single cent more, EA, until you treat us FAIRLY, and charge us the SAME as what our fellow US simmers pay. I can only hope that other Kiwis and Aussies feel the same.

I'd pay $25 for it. Not $40.
Even if they came up with a legitimate reason for ripping us off, still not worth the price tag.
And the worse part is, if I hadnt been blatantly ripped off and paid the actual $20USD rather than $40NZD. I probably would have liked this DLC and I wouldnt have such a sour taste in my mouth right now. As it stands I am absolutely not buying any future DLC at that price tag.

Good morning Simmers, well its almost afteroon. So I just googled California time and it seems as if I have to phone tomorrow morning to get through to them in the early afternoon, so I don't have to wake goodness knows what time. All excited I set a reminder alarm to phone but then I saw that they have a public holiday on the 19th January and some businesses might not be open, so it seems that we need to wait yet another day, well two for us since they are a day behind us in time. So just to give you all the heads up I will be phoning them first thing Wednesday morning :D That way I might not have to pay to listen to a recording saying it is a public day and their offices are closed. Stand united Simmers we will get answers soon
