What is the "Digital Deluxe" Sims 4?

Hi there, 

Buying my sister the Sims 4 for Christmas and had a few questions.. What is the "digital deluxe" version? Does this mean I don't get the box with the actual hard disc in it? Would it just be a download and a code? 

She'll definitely want the disc and an actual PHYSICAL item for it. What version would be the best to get for her? (And also, which version is viewed as the absolute best? She's a huge fan and a "Simmer")

Digital deluxe is just a digital download version. It has some extras you won't get with the standard edition.

There are disc versions (you can get at any store or through Amazon).

It's not completely accurate since there's no Origin exclusive item. The Collectors Edition is not available in the US.

Can I only buy the digital deluxe on origin? Because its on sale 60% so that means that its 27.99$. Plz halp mah

@meowbs yes on Origin you can only buy the download version of the game. If you want a box with it you'll have to go to a (online) store.
