The Sims 4 for Console release

I'm sure this has been asked before but just a question as I am tuned in to E3 & I along with several other people were so looking forward to them mentioning this at the conference. Sadly we haven't heard anything! Will this be the end for console users?? Everyone isn't as fortunate to get the PC version because I've even read some have old computers. (Me being one of them) I've had the pleasure of playing all of them on different consoles. I'm currently a next Gen user (Xbox one) and I've been waiting so long just to NOT hear anything about it.

I think originally it was said there won't be TS4 console version but then there was a rumor for Sony and Microsoft to release console versions in March 2016. Well it's now June and no console versions. Latest rumor ( I wouldn't hold your beath if I was you) has it now for late 2016 or early 2017 but no official word. I waiting for the DVR functions for Xbox One but very recent talk says Microsoft has stopped development with a possible it ain't going to happen. Well Microsoft charged extra for Media Center in Windows 8 and totally eliminated Media Center in Windows 10. This is not the first time Microsoft left me high and dry - I'll never buy another Windows cell phone. I try to understand why Microsoft keeps shooting themselves in their foot. I guess they just didn't learn with Vista and Windows 8.

I read all about the March 2016 release and yes (I held me breath a little LOL) March came and left without another word except something about it being released late 2016 early 2017. I seriously don't believe a word of it I think the sims consoles chapter has closed. I really really am saddened about it but hey maybe the sims 3 will be available for backwards compatibility on Xbox one soon I miss playing!
